This phrase “a
Animals are losing their home/habitat due to global warming” is one that you have heard of before. Most animals are losing their homes/habitats which is sad. recently I saw a few different species of animals might go extinct by the end of 2020. Population of birds and marine species have been slowly going down most of this is because of global warming.
Most animals aren’t dying just because of global warming there are many more reasons that are making these animals go extinct. Climate change is one that is killing some animals changing the temperatures down to 20- or 30-degrees Fahrenheit. Illegal hunting, people hunting animals that they shouldn’t and hunting where they shouldn’t people who do this is making animals go extinct quicker. Chemicals being used is slowly killing some animal’s chemicals being used on grass or plants and animals go to eat that and the chemicals slowly kill them.
The Scientist have made prediction they said “that almost 60% of animals with a backbone can go extinct by the end of 2020. Reptiles and mammals have been going down since around 1970 by humans excesses”. Living planet has made a prediction they said, “about two-thirds of all animals can go extinct by the end of 2020”. There should be people helping these animals or make a plan just to keep these animals alive or we might lose more than have of the population of animals.
This is a small plan that may or may not work but it’s at least a plan but I’m pretty sure the scientist has a plan but here’s what I think. Get a local wildlife refuge to protect the species of animals that might go extinct due to loss of habitat. Move them to another place with the same habitat they live in that is protected and have some people go check on them to make sure their fine. Putting the animals in protected lands or national parks somewhere they can roam free in their natural habitats.
We should have people that will come and help all these animals to keep them alive. Everyone has to work together to keep their amazing animals alive and existing. They are losing their habitats it’s like us losing where we live our home, so we have to do something. People have to work together to keep these animals alive. We can change the scientist predictions they said “about two-thirds of animals will go extinct by the end of 2020”.
