This school year was a great and fun experience. I came into 6th grade feeling happy and mature. As this year ends, I have learned so many things. Not just educational things but also about how to build and be a good character.
Let me talk about my proudest moment of the year. Throughout this year, I learned how to always be proud of myself but not too proud. My proudest moment of the year was when I accomplished the goal that I had set since the beginning of the school year. I completed the 6th and 7th-grade ALEKS course in less than one whole school year. I went above and beyond what I thought I could do.
During my 6th grade year, I went through my ups and downs. But, I started to think about my actions and mindset. I noticed that I didn’t have the best mindset and needed to slightly change. So, I started to reflect on myself. I reflected on my actions as well as my productiveness. Practicing being focused and on track helped me boost my well-being. Not only did I help myself but, I improved the well-being of those around me. I did so by sharing positivity and uplifting comments.
Focusing on my actions, character traits, and growing as a person, I have shown determination. The determination was shown through my work. I never wanted to stop working and I kept going without giving up. I was highly determined to finish my assignments and courses early and on time. As I keep growing as a person, I want to still be determined and accomplish my goals. I want myself and other people to know that if you keep trying, you will someday fulfill your goal. I also want to grow by sharing positivity and being confident about myself and my work.
My 6th-grade year has been such a great experience. I learned how important it is to reflect on myself and fix my mindset and actions. I not only had a fun and joyful experience, but I also was very educated thanks to my top favorite teacher, Ms. Lee. Throughout this school year, I grew as a person, learner, and friend. I began to grasp how to have a better understanding of things and seeing situations through different perspectives. I learned to surround myself with a good and positive environment and friend group. There are so many things I can take from this year and elaborate more on. Overall, this year has put me in a great position and has helped me grow and improve as a preteen. I am very excited for what next year has in store for me and all of my fellow classmates.
