End of Year Reflection by Calleigh

2019 was a big year for me ending 5th grade and start 6th grade(middle school). It’s weird to think when I was in 1st grade I thought school was never going to end. Now to think I’m about half way done with it is crazy. 6th grade was a fun year for me probably because I almost halfway done with school.

Starting 6th grade was pretty normal I had a teacher mrs, Lee. Shortly after maybe about a month later the 5th graders joined out class and we had another teacher mrs, Turner. Class was fun I had my friends and we had p.e with a real p.e teacher and a math teacher. Around half of the year sadly mrs, Turner left our class for some reason.

A little after another teacher left the 7-8th graders teacher left she was a funny teacher I wish she could have stayed. After that the year started getting weird a new sickness was going around covid 19. It didn’t really affect us yet but after a few week a lot of people weren’t showing up to school and then our school had to close and do remote learning. I miss being in class but learning online is fun half of me likes learning at home and the other half of me misses being in class with my friends and teacher.

after that it was hard to adjust to how we were learning for now on. We had daily attendance, daily work, and daily calls. Now we had to do online school it was hard it wasn't that easy to ask a question. It was hard to learn anything because the teachers aren’t in front of us to make sure we got it. The part I like about online school is that I can do my work on my own time for example I don't have to get started on my work right away I could wait and do my work a little later.

this year was crazy school year for me because I never had to do online school for this long. This year would be one that I will remember due to everything that has happen so far. Doing remote school was fun but it feels like time when by fast I can't believe its almost the end of school already.But for this being a crazy year I'm happy I have some amazing teachers that were with me and everyone else in the class along the way
