Is regular school better or worse than homeschool? There have always been people saying homeschool is worse than regular school. Well, now we are all homeschooled. So, I will show you why I think home school is better than regular school.

My first reason is you can sleep in longer. With home school, school is at home that means you don't need to drive every day to and from school. Therefore, giving you an extra hour of sleep and saving the environment from the pollution of your car. Homeschool also gives you more time to make breakfast and care for your health. More time in the mornings means better quality meals. Which means healthier kids. That leads to my second reason.

With kids at home, they don’t have to wait till "lunchtime" to eat they are bound to sneak a snack or two from the pantry. That is ok though because studies have shown that kids who snack while studying often pair the fact with the flavor and remember it better. Also, if they sneak some snacks the new "quality meals" should balance it out.

In home school, the teacher will do calls and talk to the whole class at once, but you can also text and call them. Without others in the call, you get their undivided attention. You would not usually get this in a classroom setting. Because the teacher will also have to monitor the entire class. This homeschooling I believe has been more efficient than the standard in-class curriculum.

But hey, regular school is good too. There are events like prom, and you see your friends every day. There are clubs and field trips too. Does not that sound fun. It sounds fun to me, but I am still on board with homeschooling.

Would you rather go on a field trip to a boring museum or stay home and cook? Would you rather get the homework, not understand it, and get tolled to have it done by the next day? Does being able to ask the teacher a question at any time of the day sound good now? Homeschooling also allows us kids to spend more time with family.

If you still do not agree then try to think about how the school will be for the rest of the pandemic. You might get stuck with homeschool for a while. So instead of getting mad at your teachers for the unreasonable amount of homework you have. Try to think of all the good things from homeschooling. The more you open your mind to an idea the more of a reality it becomes.
